Riggeed low-poly 3D model of the character Dave from the 2010s cartoon Scaredy Squirrel. Modeled in Blender, textured in Aseprite.
I dislike this character, but I do quite like his design and how it contrasts with the main character Scaredy. The style of the model is based on the DS game Phineas and Ferb, developed by the company Altron, as I am a particular fan of the licensed games Altron developed. Looking back on this, I probably shouldn’t have made each of the four hairdo pieces separate rectangles, since it wastes polys and thus is less DS-accurate…
Teal wooden stool. Modeled in Blender, textured in Gimp and Blender.
I’m surprised how well the paint scratches turned out, since they’re just scribbles done using the default Blender brush.
WIP 3D model of Bluey from Bluey. Not rigged.
I used a turnaround posted by one of the show’s animators as reference, plus a screenshot of an in-between frame where her snout is pointing at the camera (the show usually avoids doing this).
